Pro Evolution Soccer - PES 2013 telah mendapat lesen untuk menyertakan pasukan yang akan bertanding dalam UEFA Champion League, Liga BBVA, Ligue 1, Eredivisie, Serie A dan Brasilerao. Bagi English Premier League (EPL), hanya pasukan Manchester United sahaja yang mendapat lesen, tidak termasuk juara UCL musim lalu, Chelsea serta juara baru EPL 2011/2012, Manchester City dan beberapa pasukan utama lain seperti Arsenal dan Liverpool.

Namun, sepertimana versi sebelumnya, kekurangan tersebut boleh diatasi dengan install patch yang boleh dimuat-turun secara percuma. Patch terbaik untuk PES2013 (PC) ialah dari team PESEdit.com yang sering mengeluarkan patch terbaru dan berkualiti untuk siri game Pro Evolution Soccer.
